Our first restaurant to eat at in New York City! Our friends recommended it and it was amazing! It is so cute inside and our service was amazing. The food was outstanding. We want to go back. We ordered the special and had a Caesar salad and three different pastas!

Pleasantly surprised with Becco! Restaurants in the Theater District are typically 1. EXTREMELY expensive and/or 2. very bad. Becco was pricey but nothing outrageous and worked perfectly for our group before a show. Three of us had their $35 unlimited pasta and appetizer deal and were completely stuffed afterwards. I love that they give you three different pastas (linguini al vongole, beet tortelini and a classic bowtie pasta with tomato sauce). Came with a side of either Caesar salad or antipasti, both of which were great. Drinks were tasty, I had the aperol spritz and enjoyed it. Service was a little slow but friendly and helpful in deciding meal choices.

Here with some friends for an early dinner after seeing Tommy at a matinee performance. We had a reservation 630pm on a Wednesday. Plenty of theatre goers here for their pre-show meal we were not in any rush. Service was excellent and there are multiple servers, busboys attending. The hostess sat us promptly and the Maitre d showed up from time to time checking on us. The place is traditional NY Italian with a bar and 12 tables then a larger seating area around back and another bar. We were seated out front. There are also a few tables Al fresco. We ordered a bottle of Ripasso from the Veneto. Excellent. We noted that the entire wine list, which was quite extensive, had numerous offerings at $40 a bottle - a great deal. For food I got Osso Buco, my favorite here, and started with the beef carpaccio. The beef carpaccio here is outstanding in quality and presentation. It must be cut thin so that if held up you can see light. Sprinkled with Parmesan and arugula. Wonderful. The Osso Buco if always prepared perfectly, and a small utensil is provided for scooping the marrow from the bone. Also a beautiful presentation. My wife got a bolognese lasagna. Which was a large brick of food she could only eat one-third. We are having the leftover for dinner tomorrow. Dessert was a couple of espressos and Afogado. A very nice meal. We would definitely return. Nancy & Mark.

My recent dining experience at Becco was nothing short of extraordinary--a true celebration of Italian cuisine and hospitality. To start, I savored the refreshing Insalata Mista, a delightful blend of baby greens, Tuscan beans, red onion, sunchokes, and oven-dried tomatoes tossed in fragrant extra virgin olive oil. This salad set the stage for what turned out to be a remarkable feast. For my main course, I indulged in the Sinfonia di Paste--a pasta lover's dream come true. This special offering began with my choice of either Insalata Cesare or Antipasto, and I upgraded to the Insalata Mista for just $2 more. The highlight of the meal was the unlimited table-side service of Executive Chef William Gallagher's Three Daily Pasta Preparations. The pasta selections were outstanding: Braised Radicchio Ravioli with Smoked Mozzarella and Bacon: Each ravioli was a burst of savory goodness, featuring a delectable combination of radicchio, smoked mozzarella, and crispy bacon. Tagliolini alla Pesto with Asparagus: This pasta dish was a celebration of spring, with vibrant pesto sauce and tender asparagus creating a harmonious flavor profile. Radiatori with Tomato, Basil & Ricotta Salata: A comforting and classic dish, showcasing the simplicity and quality of Italian ingredients. Despite the generous portions and variety, every dish was executed with finesse and care, demonstrating Chef Gallagher's expertise in Italian cuisine. The overall dining experience at Becco was elevated by impeccable service--attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable staff who guided us through the menu with warmth and professionalism. If you're seeking an authentic Italian culinary journey in a welcoming atmosphere, Becco is a must-visit. Whether you're a pasta enthusiast or simply looking to indulge in quality Italian fare, Becco promises a memorable dining experience that will leave you planning your next visit. Buon appetito!

Amazing Italian restaurant in the Hell's Kitchen area. The place is big and has tons of tables but I would recommend making a reservation. They are extremely busy around the theater times so plan accordingly. The all you can eat pasta options is my personal favorite. It is a great way to try multiple dishes. And they keep coming by offering more. I have been here multiple times and the staff has always been very friendly and accommodating.

The restaurant felt a lot larger on the inside than it looked on the outside, and it wasn't too busy after 1 PM on a Saturday. I'd suggest a making a reservation in advance for eating at peak hours, since the tables around ours were all finishing up as we were seated. The restaurant felt homey and warm with the decor. The complimentary sliced bread sadly wasn't warm when they brought it out, but the thin, crunchy breadsticks with seasoning were addictive. The Insalata Cesare, the caesar salad, was solid, and they brought it out maybe 5 minutes after we placed our orders. The service here was quick, and we even got the pastas right after we finished our appetizers. The unlimited pasta serves their rotating three pastas, and the selection and variety were surprisingly good. The pasta was perfectly al dente; I've never had such al dente pasta before at a restaurant. I only tried two of the three pastas, since the third was a mushroom ravioli and I'm not a fan of mushroom. (My friend told me it was really good and that I had to try it.)
